Vogue features Burna Boy at his sold out London show

Burna Boy shut down London and he did so in style, take a look at Vogue talking about his outfit choices at his 02 show.

Burna Boy is riding on a high off the back of his 02 Academy show in London. The Nigerian superstar performed to a huge crowd and now Vogue features artist at his sold out London show.

Burna Boy thrilled fans with hits like 'Don Gorgon' and 'Ye' as he lit up the stage in a variety of outfits. From a burgundy tracksuit with white piping to a sheer top with yellow and black zebra stripes finished off with a pair of Gucci trainers, Burna certainly made a statement with his show style choices.

The eclectic singer ensured each look was more memorable than the last as he kept the crowd rapt with his energetic performance.

Rachel Hahn for Vogue writes:

Burna Boy has had a busy few days. The singer-songwriter opened a space-diner-theme pop-up store in Shoreditch, London, on Saturday, which his sister Ronami Ogulu curated—and where they sold boxes of his “Space Puffs” cereal, limited to just 50 units—and the day after, he played to a sold-out stadium at O2 Brixton Academy.

Burna pulled out some truly bold looks for the headlining show: He paired neon zebra-print pants with chunky, gold chain-accented sneakers backstage before changing into a deceptively sharp blazer, which he wore with slick leather pants. The garments were both printed all over with a faux caution tape that read “fragile” in a big red font, so it wasn’t your average suited-up look. Burna’s ensemble may pay homage to the packing tape used for breakables, but he certainly didn’t need any special protection onstage—he looks utterly secure in the photos that he’s shared. Take a look at the photo diary above to get a sense of his vibrant style, both onstage and off.
