Nollywood actor Nosa Rex has opened up about his misunderstanding with veteran actor Richard Mofe-Damijo
The actor in an interview with Punch, recalled when he made a post on instagram in 2018 about his experience with RMD when he asked for financial assistance to help a sick colleague Clems Onyeka who has passed on.
Nosa in the interview stated that his post was not to disrespect the veteran actor but rather an expression of a thought that had been on his mind since 2014.
“I wasn’t disrespectful to RMD. I just shared my experience in order to express what had been on my mind since 2014.
“I didn’t say what I said because I had any hatred for him or because I was trying to disrespect him.
“If I had that in mind, I wouldn’t still be following him on Instagram. He is someone I respect.
“I respect his craft. If one does wrong, it is normal for one to talk about it instead of me to harbouring it in my mind” he said.
He stated further that since he made the post, his conscience has been cleared and he still has love for RMD even though his action then was not the best.
Nosa in the interview also made it known that he has a lot of respect for RMD who is like a father figure to him.
“I have been free since the day I made the statement. I still like his pictures and follow him ‘bumper to bumper’.
“The person I mentioned, Clem Onyeka, was a friend and what he (RMD) did then wasn’t really nice.
“It’s all in the past right now. We learn every day. I still love RMD. I am still a boy and a son to him.”
